Hey hey.
I Am Noel
I grew up in the Mojave Desert in Southern California where I had my first film camera. I loved capturing the raw beauty of the desert and how there was so much life around me despite the harsh conditions. After graduating from high school as valedictorian I was determined to become an art historian. But once I was in collage I realized that I also loved biology, micro biology actually. I met the love of my life and he convinced me to move with him to ALABAMA of all places. Once I became pregnant with my daughter my husband gifted me a DLSR canon camera - oh the struggles I had learning how to capture what I wanted with a digital tool. I fell in love with the 50mm prime lens and I've been capturing my family and documenting all our adventures ever since - check out my personal project. That being said, I'm passionate about photography. I adore light and shadow, how it plays with your eyes to make life out of something still - or sleeping.
I want to capture your story and create more beauty in the world.
I truly value every image I capture because they not only tell stories but they hold memories. They hold the love that is shared between all of us and the love of the ones that we've lost. My passion for photography grew after my first child was born, I wanted to gift her with memories of her childhood. I have a fond memories of looking through my family photos, captured on disposable cameras and developed at Walgreens. I don't have the luxury of seeing any of those photos anymore, that's a long sad story. So, I only have a small box of photos from my childhood and a handful of pictures of my parents, only one of them together. Documenting moments in my families life turned into so much more for me. An outlet for my creativity to come to life and a way to sooth my soul and that little Noel inside me. Knowing that I'm creating a lasting legacy of images for my family is priceless.
When I'm capturing your family, this is my reason and passion behind my photography. It's creating beauty but also capturing something we all hold dear.
