Hey hey

I'm Noel

I've been capturing families and their stories for the past 8 years in the Willamette Valley area and beyond. I truly value every image I capture because they they hold memories. A photograph has the power to hold the love that is shared between all of us.

My friends say that I should come with a warning label - the vibes will be very real and down to earth.

My passion for photography grew after my first child was born, I wanted to gift her with memories of her childhood. I have a fond memories of looking through my family photos, captured on disposable cameras and developed at Walgreens. I don't have the luxury of seeing any of those photos anymore, that's a long sad story. What’s left is a small box of photos from my childhood and a handful of pictures of my parents, only one of them together.

My approach
In the realm of family photography, my approach aligns with the same principles I apply to homeschooling my children - which is mostly "child lead learning". The session will be mostly "child-lead", I want you to just be present with your kiddos, not stressed about making them listen. We are in Oregon and the weather is just as unpredictable as how kids react to being photographed - Let's make this fun, splash in the puddles fun!

When capturing moments behind the lens, I strive to create an atmosphere that is relaxed, connected, and has a hint of organization.

During a photo session, I embrace the freedom to capture both posed and unposed moments in an organic and easy-going manner. My aim is to create a balanced session that highlights the unique beauty and emotions of each individual, resulting in timeless and meaningful photographs.
